Datacenter Installation
Services Overview
WMG Technical Installations builds the physical layer of your datacenter. We handle the full installation scope: rack placement and levelling, power distribution, cooling, structured cabling, hardware mounting and commissioning. One coordinated crew takes the site from empty white space to a tested, labelled and documented live environment, so you deal with one accountable partner instead of five separate trades.
Why It Matters
A datacenter is only as reliable as the way it was installed. Poor rack alignment, undersized power paths, sloppy cable management and untested cooling turn into downtime, failed audits and expensive rework later. Our engineers install to a documented standard, verify every circuit and airflow path before handover, and give you as-built documentation you can hand straight to an auditor or a colocation provider.
How It Works
01. Site survey and design
02. Delivery, staging and inspection
03. Rack placement and hardware mounting
04. Power, cooling and structured cabling
05. Testing, labelling and documented handover
We're here to help
Planning a datacenter build, migration or expansion? Send us your floor plan or rack layout and our engineers will come back with a scope, a fixed quotation and a realistic installation window.
A full installation covers site survey and design, rack delivery and placement, hardware mounting, power distribution (UPS and PDU), cooling connection, structured cabling, labelling, testing and as-built documentation. We scope each element with you up front so the quotation is fixed.
A single rack row is typically installed in a few days. A full white space fit-out of 20 to 50 racks usually runs three to six weeks depending on power and cooling complexity and on hardware lead times. We give you a firm window after the site survey.
Yes. Much of our work happens in occupied, operational environments. We plan hot work, access, escorted deliveries and noise around your uptime requirements, and we can install outside business hours or in agreed maintenance windows.
Cost depends on rack count, power density, cooling type and cabling scope. As a guide, straightforward rack and cabling installations start in the low thousands per rack, while full white space fit-outs including power and liquid cooling run substantially higher. You get a fixed quotation after the survey, with no hourly surprises.
We install across Europe, with our main coverage in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. Our crews travel to site, and we work under one contract and one standard regardless of which country the facility is in.
Yes. Every installation is handed over with rack elevations, port and circuit labelling, cable schedules and photo documentation. This is standard, not an extra, because it is what your operations team and your auditors will need later.
