Fire Safety and Detection
Services Overview
We install fire detection and suppression built for technical environments: aspirating smoke detection such as VESDA, point detection, gas suppression, control panels, and integration with your BMS and building alarm. Datacenter fire safety is a compliance requirement and an insurance condition, and it needs to be installed by people who understand that a false discharge is nearly as damaging as a fire.
Why It Matters
A datacenter is a room full of ignition sources sitting directly under your entire business. Standard building fire systems detect too late for a facility where a fault can smoulder inside a cabinet for a long time, and water based suppression destroys the equipment it is meant to protect. Early aspirating detection and the right suppression agent are what save the hardware and the data.
How It Works
01. Risk assessment and compliance review
02. Detection and suppression design
03. Installation of detection, panels and pipework
04. Integration with BMS and alarm systems
05. Commissioning, testing and certification

VESDA is aspirating smoke detection. It continuously draws air samples through a pipe network and detects smoke at concentrations far below what a standard point detector sees. In a datacenter, where an overheating component can smoulder inside a cabinet for hours, that early warning is often what prevents the fire entirely.
Clean agent gas systems such as inert gas or chemical agents, which suppress fire without leaving residue and without destroying electronics. Water is avoided in the technical space wherever possible for obvious reasons.
In practice yes. It is required by building regulations for commercial and industrial premises, and it is almost always a condition of your insurance and of colocation or client contracts. Requirements vary by country, which we check during the assessment.
Yes. We install and commission around live operations, and we plan detector isolation and testing windows carefully so that commissioning never triggers an unplanned discharge.
Yes. Detection and suppression are integrated with your building management system and alarm receiving centre so alerts reach the right people and are logged properly.
Yes. Scheduled testing, servicing and recertification of detection and suppression systems is available under a maintenance contract, which keeps you compliant and your insurer satisfied.
